CV Preparation Workshop in February by Paul del Rosario: Four sessions (2 ~ 3 hours each session)

This highly selective, free intensive workshop is designed for displaced Palestinians who are serious and ready to pursue remote work immediately.

Ideal for those who:

• Have prior professional or freelance experience (any field).

• Possess professional working-level English (fluent in speaking, writing, and client communication).

• Have reliable access to a computer, stable internet (with backups for outages), and necessary tools.

• Already have an active LinkedIn profile (essential for networking and visibility to global employers).

Format:

Twice a week (total 4 sessions), 2–3 hours per session via Zoom (recorded for flexibility).

When: 2026 February. Exact dates and times to be decided together with the selected participants to best fit time zones and availability.

We’ll dive deep into addressing international employers’ key concerns (reliability, connectivity, payments) while building standout CVs, refining remote skills, and crafting strong applications for global remote positions.

This is to check for English fluency, and to screen for those who are truly committed. Some employers will expect to have a online interview with applicants. This is simply one exercise for such requirements.

Exclusive Workshop: Introduction to Scholarships and How to Write Proposals (Limited to 6 Participants) by Hamza El-Asaad

This free workshop is designed for displaced Palestinians who are considering applying to graduate programs (Master’s or PhD) in Europe or North America.

When: 2026 February. Exact dates and times to be decided together with the selected participants to best fit time zones and availability.

Ideal for those who are:

• Applying for Master’s or PhD

• Proficient in English (fluent in speaking and writing)

• Able to access a computer with a stable internet connection

Format: Currently, one workshop is scheduled. Additional sessions may be offered if participants require further guidance.

The instructor will provide a general introduction to scholarships, including:

Where and how to search for suitable scholarships

How to write a strong and competitive proposal

How to identify and approach a potential supervisor

How to select the most suitable university and program

Spots are strictly limited to 6 participants who are either actively applying or planning to apply to universities and/or scholarships in the near future.

Please note that the instructor cannot provide individual proofreading or personalized recommendations. This workshop focuses on general strategies, best practices for applying, and guidance on selecting supervisors and institutions. Participants are responsible for making their own final decisions.
